Toyota Motor Corp. is producing new prototypes for robots in hopes that they will become part of core business in the future. In terms of aiding robot technology, the government has funded millions of dollars towards numerous robot related projects.
Toyota President Katsuaki Watanabe stated that his dream car would not only be more environmentally friendly but also have artifical intelligence that would be able to sense a crash and avoid it, among other safety and health innovations. To that end, Toyato has been putting research into the fusion of industrial technology and neroscience.
